Privacy policy

Information you provide

We collect your name, email address, and questionnaire responses—including story preferences, characters, relationship themes, boundaries, and other details you choose to provide—to create and deliver your personalized novella.

Information collected automatically

Our essential systems process IP address, browser and device information, request logs, order identifiers, generation status, and security signals. Your browser may temporarily save an unfinished questionnaire and your privacy choice in local storage.

Payments

Stripe processes payment-card information. We do not receive or store your complete card number. We retain the Stripe session and payment references needed to confirm and support your purchase.

How we use information

• Create, personalize, package, and deliver your story and visual assets.
• Process payment and provide customer support.
• Prevent abuse, secure the service, and diagnose failures.
• Measure and improve the customer journey through analytics.
• Measure advertising performance when you permit optional marketing tools.

Service providers and international transfers

We use service providers including Supabase for application data, Cloudflare for queues and private files, Anthropic and OpenAI for AI generation, Resend for email, Stripe for payments, Vercel for hosting, PostHog for analytics, and Meta for advertising measurement. Processing may occur outside your country, including in the United States and Singapore.

Retention and security

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to deliver the product, support your purchase, meet legal and accounting duties, resolve disputes, and protect the service. We use access controls, environment separation, private storage, and encrypted transport, but no system is completely secure.

Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to certain processing. Email love@notesinred.com.

Adults only

The service is for adults age 18 or older. Do not submit information about minors or use real people’s sensitive information without permission.

Cookies and advertising choices

Essential browser storage keeps your unfinished questionnaire and privacy preference working. Optional PostHog analytics helps us understand funnel performance. Optional Meta Pixel and Conversions API events help measure and improve advertising. Meta may combine event, device, browser, IP, hashed email, and order information with information from other websites to provide measurement and advertising services.

We use PostHog analytics and Meta advertising measurement when you visit the story experience. These tools may set browser identifiers and measure page views and funnel events. You can limit cookies through your browser settings and review industry advertising opt-outs at YourAdChoices and Your Online Choices.

Purchase and service terms

The product

You may generate a free preview containing the first three chapters. A one-time payment of $24.90 unlocks chapters 4–20, three Story DNA cards, and PDF and EPUB files for that custom novella. There is no subscription or automatic renewal.

AI-generated content

Stories and visuals are created or enhanced using AI. Results may contain errors, inconsistencies, or similarities to other generated material. The service is entertainment, not professional advice, and we do not guarantee factual accuracy or absolute uniqueness.

Your responsibilities

You must be 18 or older and may not submit unlawful, abusive, infringing, or non-consensual material; attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service; or use generated content to impersonate, harass, or harm another person.

Use of your novella

After payment, you may keep, read, print, and share your delivered novella for personal, non-commercial use. Notes in Red retains ownership of its brand, software, templates, and service design. You retain any rights you already hold in material you submit.

Availability and delivery

Generation is normally automated but timing can vary. If processing fails, contact support and we will attempt to complete or redeliver the purchased files. We may suspend the service for security, legal, or operational reasons.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without implied warranties, and Seven Notes Private Limited is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, subject to mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.

Refund and cancellation policy

The free preview requires no payment and can be abandoned at any time. The full-story unlock is a one-time purchase, so there is no subscription to cancel.

Because personalized digital generation begins immediately after payment, completed and delivered purchases are generally non-refundable except where required by law. If the paid story is not delivered, files are unusable, you were charged incorrectly, or you experience another material problem, contact love@notesinred.com within 14 days. We will investigate and provide redelivery, correction, or a refund when appropriate.
